Finishing Uni

Well almost. All my final project work has been handed in, and now just the end of year show to go.
It has been a hectic few months, and I don't think I have worked any harder, or felt any more exhausted than I do now.

I have recently given my website a bit of a make over, updating it with all my recent projects, there are a few videos still be uploaded, and they should be up in the next few days.

I have neglected the blog for a long time now, finding it difficult to fit it into my uni working lifestyle. Now that part of my professional career is ending, and I am now moving on to other exciting projects, I hope to use this space to show what I am up to, and reflect on my development as a designer.

Information is Beautiful

I bought David McCandless' book a couple of months ago and am really enjoying looking at the beautiful images he has produced from so much data.
I have got a few projects on the go at the moment where I have a lot of information to deal with and this talk has really got me in the mind set!

A very big box of Sugar Puffs.

This has really cheered me up on this grey and miserable day.

Foot of this hill...

Haven't posted for a while, been swamped with Uni work.
I have been researching for a group presentation on the advantages and disadvantages of being a freelancer.
We made some really useful contacts, especially in the Bristol area. The information we got from them has been worth all the hard work. We also put together a handout to reflect our presentation, photographs to follow.

The Johnny Cash Project

Saw this for the first time this morning. Such a big fan of Johnny Cash anyway but really respect all the hard work that so many people put into this, great result!

Every Object

This is a project I worked on last semester. I took photographs of an old treasured object, and selected twelve of them to create a narrative. I then went on to print them along side text as a folding pamphlet.
